Help for the local community

Seniors party 06.12.11 001 Help for the local community is high on the list of priorities for the Lions Club of Sidmouth, as it is for other Lions Clubs.

We endeavour to help the local community in a number of ways, of which the following are recent examples -

Providing tickets etc to shows at the Manor Pavilion Theatre, Sidmouth for older or needy individuals
Tickets etc to the Pantomime at the Manor Pavilion Theatre, Sidmouth for disadvantaged or needy children
A Christmas Social at St Francis Hall for the older or disabled members of the community
In addition, we have contributed towards costs for needy individuals locally, in deserving cases

Apart from these specific examples, we do, of course, aim to benefit the local community through other aspects of our work - such as Donations to charities and Youth activities.
