Donations
One of the main ways in which we try to help others is, of course, through donations to charities and other good causes.
Sidmouth Lions make many donations each year based on appeals and/or local needs.
Over the years, to name just a few, these have included:

- Bereavement support charities (various)
- Motor Neurone Disease
Devon Air Ambulance- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Sidmouth Youth Trust for 'The Arches' youth project
- Devon Freewheelers, the voluntary, out-of-hours motorcycle courier service which delivers urgently needed supplies to hospitals
- Exeter/Honiton Hospicecare
St Lukes PCC Newton Poppleford re new community hall- Tipton St John Playing Fields
- Nightstop Devon
- Tipton St John Scout Group
- 1st Sid Vale Scouts
- Sidmouth Hospice at Home
St John Ambulance- Lions Clubs eye health projects
- Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contests
- Sidmouth College Awards, equipment and Experience Days for Students
- Street Children projects
- Diabetes screening service offered at the Lions stand at the Devon County Show
In addition, Sidmouth Lions have supported local youngsters for youth development activities and helped provide equipment/facilities for various individuals in need.
